Version 1.1

Create a Qoo

Qoo Name: Enter a unique QOO name. This will be used to address your QOO. ex: If your Qoo name is “MyQoo” and your phone number is +919988776655 then the address of the Qoo will be MyQoo@919988776655

Qoo Type: Choose the type of Qoo based on your business need

First Come First Served: As the name suggests the customers will be assigned tokens sequentially and the progress of the Qoo will also be sequential. The order will be lowest token first.

Service: This type of Qoo is useful when the customers in the Qoo may or may not be served in a sequential order, and there is an intimation that will be sent to the customer when the processing starts and processing stops. A typical use case is in take away food stalls. When you place an order and you are intimated when it's ready for pickup.

Fixed: This type of Qoo is useful when a fixed known set of people are called in a pre ordained order. Best suited for courts. FUTURE FEATURE

Scheduled: This type of Qoo is best suited for places that have slots of time available and people can join the slots. The progress is based on time and only the tokens in the time slot are allowed. FUTURE FEATURE

Is this a public Qoo:
Selecting this value will make this Qoo visible to all and therefore searchable by customers.

Qoo Location: Choose the location of the service. This helps customers know how far the service is, and also if they are away from the Qoo it helps them reach the Qoo on time.

Qoo Sub-QOO Rotation Strategy: Choose the strategy of assigning the next QOO in the chain upon progress in the current Qoo.

None: This indicates that this Qoo may not have child Qoo and therefore the rotation strategy is not valid.

Named: This strategy indicates that this Qoo will progress to one of the child Qoos based on the chosen child Qoo name. The choice of the Qoo will be prompted at the time of joining the Qoo or at the time of progress based on the selection for “Should show next QOO choice on progress” option.

Shortest Wait: This strategy indicates that when this Qoo will progress the next Qoo will be chosen based on the shortest wait time. Shortest wait time is a function of number of people in Qoo and the rate of service and the status of the Qoo. FUTURE FEATURE

Round Robin: This strategy indicates that this Qoo will progress to the next child Qoo fairly one after another, and going round.

Should show next Qoo choice on progress: This choice is valid only for “Named” Sub-Qoo rotation strategy. If selected the choice of child Qoo is made by the Qoo owner at the time of progressing the Qoo. If unselected the child Qoo is chosen by the customer at the time of joining this Qoo.

Qoo Batch Size: This indicates the number of customers that will be progressed at a time. Currently NOT IMPLEMENTED.

Qoo Progress Mode: This indicates how the Qoo will be progressing.

Manual: This value will mean that the Qoo will be progressed manually by press of “Next” by the Qoo owner or the Next Bluetooth button.

Auto next: This value means that the Qoo will be progressed automatically without the intervention of any human or value. The customer will progress to the next Qoo based on the Sub-Qoo rotation strategy as soon as he joins this Qoo.

Auto next, delayed: This is same as auto but the progress happens automatically after the configured delay in “Delay”

Qoo Delay: This value is valid only for the “Auto next, delayed” Qoo progress mode. This is the delay that will be used between each progress. The delay unit is in secs. Ex: If you specify 30 it will mean every 30 secs one customer will progress.

Qoo details

Days of the week: You can choose the days the Qoo will be operational.

Hours of operation: Select the time between which the tokens will be issued. Outside these times a person joining will be shown a message saying the Qoo is closed for today.

Max tokens per day: This is the maximum number of tokens that will be issued in a day. If a token is requested over this number a message is shown to the person requesting to join the Qoo irrespective of the token being requested on a valid day of the week or within the hours of operation.

Is this a downstream Qoo: This choice will indicate that this Qoo will be a child of other Qoos.

Upstream Qoos: This value indicates all the parent Qoos of this Qoo. This value can be set only if the option “Is this a downstream Qoo” is selected.

Reuse parent token: You must check this box if you want to reuse the token number of the parent Qoo. PLEASE NOTE: This feature works well, without causing any confusion among your customers if all your customers start from a single Qoo.
